My Career in the beauty industry started when I graduation High School. I am a local girl I grew up in Rowley MA. After graduating I attended Essex Agricultural Institute where I studied Cosmetology. After 5 years of doing hair I decided I needed a change and started doing makeup. I realized I have a true passion and talent for doing makeup.

 

Growing up I started wearing makeup early always experimenting with different products and colors so it didn't surprise me but I never thought of it as a career.

I landed my dream job working as an in house Makeup artist for Bobbi Brown cosmetics at Saks Fifth Avenue in Boston where I stayed for 8 years. During that time I also was recruited to work freelance doing weddings for Beauty Muse Collective and Katrina Hess Makeup on Newbury Street in Boston.

In 2017 with the help of my supportive husband I opened Melissa Mack Makeup Studio and went on my own to start my Bridal business. I have been in business now for 7 years. I also own At Lashed in downtown Newburyport, Ma where I provide Makeup services in studio as well as Eye Lash Extension's, Brow Shaping, Lash Lifts and Tints.

I live locally in Byfield with my husband and my two Siberian Huskies Lyvia and Pearl.
